Just to chime in on this particular question - I don't think we know. <br>
Polarization is not in the standard VLA calibration pipeline, so we get <br>
no regular statistics. And most folks, even those doing polarization <br>
(which is in general a more knowledgeable group), don't look at their <br>
data that closely. Certainly not as closely as Rick. Couple that with <br>
how often Ku-band is done in polarization, and I just don't think we <br>
have good statistics. We could mine the proposal database to find out <br>
how often Ku-band polarization has been done. It's harder to mine the <br>
archive for those statistics, because there is no way, other than <br>
choosing polarization intents for some sources, to indicate that an SB <br>
is a polarization observation, and those polarization intents are not <br>
carried through to the index database in the archive (at least I don't <br>
think they are).<br>
