We've made the current OPT code available for testing on <a

 href="https://builder.aoc.nrao.edu/opt/sssOptReleases.shtml#1.16.00">webtest</a>.<br>

We also created a <a

 href="https://builder.aoc.nrao.edu/opt/testingTips.1.16.00.html">Testing

Tips</a> document that lists several JIRA tickets, gives some hints on

how to test, and suggests people to do the testing.  People whose names

appear there: Amy, Vivek, Michael, Lorant, Rick P.<br>

We know of no must-release-to-production date, and of no

must-have-features-x-y-z before releasing to production, so we'll be

continuing to work on open tickets while you guys are testing.  We've

had requests in the past to have multiple smaller webtest updates, as

opposed to waiting for all planned tickets to be coded before releasing

a test version, with the idea that it allows you to begin testing

earlier.  That is the motivation behind today's release.<br>

As you test items on the Testing Tips, please leave a comment in the

corresponding JIRA ticket with your results.<br>
