    ea24 has the 'reverse coupler' scheme installed at L-band, for the 
purpose of allowing observing power solar flares.  But there is 
something amiss with this system when observing 'normal' sources, as the 
switched power it is utilizing is about 9 times higher than the value 
ascribed to it -- i.e., about 18K, rather than the nominal 2K.  This 
will have a notable effect on system sensitivity, adding about 9 K to 
the system temperature.
