From the results so far, everyone bar one who would like to attend in person would prefer the week of Nov 9, with a general favouring of Perth or Sydney over Melbourne. I agree that if we want to facilitate travel coordination we would need to lock in the dates pretty soon. Based on various logistical constraints, I've come up with a proposal of mid-November somewhere in Australia (CSIRO or Swinburne). I don't think it is feasible to hold any meeting much sooner than November, and I hope that Australia would be a feasible destination
for most prospective attendees in the current travel environment, but there is an option to suggest alternatives in that form.</div>
