                          FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

                 15th DiFX Users and Developers Meeting

                        NRAO, Socorro, NM, USA

                         September 11-15, 2023


NRAO is pleased to host the 15th DiFX Users and Developers meeting in Socorro, 
NM, USA this coming September.  There has been continuous DiFX activity since 
the last meeting in 2019 so there will be plenty to discuss.

The DiFX Users meeting will occur on the first two days and will be in a hybrid 
in-person / zoom format.  These two days will be mostly talks and discussion. 
The DiFX Developers meeting follows in the final three days. Developers have 
the opportunity to work together to plan upcoming developments, broaden 
knowledge of how various parts of DiFX work, and improve documentation.  The 
DiFX Developers meeting will be local only, with possible exceptions to 
accommodate specific interactions.

A second announcement will be circulated around May 1, 2023 with more details 
on logistics, registration and events.
