<div style="color:rgb(0,0,0);">The failure occurs when I first zoom in via "SET WINDOW + LOAD" then “AUTO X Y ZOOM ?” and “LOAD”, and then try to use “FLAG AREA” in the GUI. If it is helpful, I just tried SPFLG and TVFLG, both of which worked following the same procedure. As some additional context, I have my AIPS (v 31DEC2025) working area LOCALHOST_1 on an external SSD which I originally thought could be the issue given it seemed to be reporting a write issue, but the fact that SPFLG and TVFLG both work and FTFLG works when I don’t zoom seems to suggest otherwise. </div>
