<div>Hello,</div><div><br></div><div>I'm reducing astrometric-style data with multiple phase reference calibrators. I'm familiar with the data processing steps to feed ATMCA an SN table, so my question is more geared towards understanding its output.</div><div><br></div><div>Before ATMCA, the secondary phase calibrators have a large spread in phase solutions, as can be seen in X_resph_134.ps (sorry, I don't know how to give snplt multiple symbols to identify multiple sources, but there are two secondary phase calibrators in here). </div><div><br></div><div>I have used aparm(1) 3 for atmca. After determining the phase solutions with calib using the CL table from atmca, there is a noticeable improvement in the spread of the phase solutions (see X_resph_atmca.ps), but not nearly the improvement seen in AIPSMEM111. The phase rate doesn't seem to change at all. Does this suggest residual phase errors from earlier on in the calibration? Or should I trust that these solutions are sufficient given the calibrator positions?</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div>Greg</div>
