You could also get C and X band observations to look for evidence of core shift and/or structure that is unresolved at L-band (maybe a new component was launched since Leonid’s image). Alternating between the three frequencies in one ~3-hour observation would naturally get you better uv-coverage and improved sensitivity (the catch is that you would need to use the DDC personality at L-band, which is not as resilient to RFI). If the source is important for your ongoing FLASH survey, you could argue that it is important to resolve this issue soon rather than wait for the normal NRAO deadline. </div><div>Just a thought.</div><div>Good luck with your ongoing analysis.</div><div>Justin</div></div><!-- DP_MESSAGE_END -->
