<div>Hello,</div><div><br></div><div>Recently I've been working with some astrometric datasets from the NRAO archive where the target is located several arcseconds away from the correlation phase centre of each scan. The separation ranges from few arcseconds up to an arcminute. These datasets have a very short integration time (0.1s) and good spectral resolution (512 channels per IF, 62.5 KHz per channel), so bandwith and time smearing shouldn't be a problem.</div><div><br></div><div>I've been using UVFIX to recalculate the baseline vectors and to shift the phase center to where I know the target is. So far the results have been very good, but I've been wondering how this phase shift is done. I imagine that this is done by assuming a delay model at the initial and the new position, and then applying the difference between delay models to the phases (Section 2.3.3,<span style="font-size:1.125rem;"> </span><span style="font-size:1.125rem;"><a href="https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2011A%26A...526A.140M/abstract" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2011A%26A...526A.140M/abstract</a>) Is this the case?
