<div>After a recent machine crash, we started seeing ZFI2 delay and beyond EOF errors when running AIPS (see attached screenshot). I deleted all the SGD files and the MSD files associated with the AIPS numbers in use at the time, but the problem has not resolved. The errors appear when starting AIPS, running a task, and exiting AIPS. Tasks appear to run normally, although there is a noticeable delay while it tries to do... whatever this is.</div><div><br></div><div>I've also noticed that:</div><div>1) It happens with all AIPS numbers, even brand new ones</div><div>2) One of the SGD files that is 2.2M keeps getting re-created every time I restart AIPS, and the save/get for that aips number is never lost (ie. TGET works)</div><div>3) When using that specific aips number, the requested byte numbers in the message increase</div><div><br></div><div>How do I find and remove the corrupt file permanently?</div><div><br></div><div>thank you,</div><div>Wendy</div>
