<div>Hi,</div><div><br></div><div>I have a question about the Tsys measurements in VLBA antab files.</div><div><br></div><div>I found unreliable Tsys values in VLBA antab file while I was calibrating the 2021A session GMVA data. Those values are either 999.0 K (Kelvin) or negative values or higher than 9999.0 K.</div><div><br></div><div>So, I removed them and did an interpolation to replace those weird values. However, in some antennas/polarizations, I still see very high Tsys values (e.g., between 2000.0 K and 3000.0 K or between 800.0 K and 1000.0 K.</div><div><br></div><div>My question is, are these still-very-high values ok? </div><div>Are they correct measurements, rather than some instrumental/technical problem that should also be replaced with the interpolation?</div><div>Also, is there any specific/clear criterion to judge whether Tsys values are correct (i.e., even if they are very high, they are true measurements so do not modify them) or not (i.e., the measurements are wrong, so one need to modify them)?</div><div><br></div><div>Best regards,</div><div>Daewon</div><div><br></div>
