Try aips tv=local. The aips socket assignments conflict with other<br>
program's assignments so you may be hitting one of them. The tv=local<br>
is all you need on a single-user environment and you cancan have up to<br>
35 of them if you are crazy. The local tv uses sockets in /tmp and so<br>
cannot conflict with other things.<br>
