AIPS has a table called the PD table which it uses to apply spectral D terms. That table is described in detail in AIPS Memo 117 page 51. I am testing a new system designed to apply absolute D terms for VLA antennas. That will involve a text file which is read and interpolated to the frequencies in the current uv file. I could - nay should - write a task to read such text files and convert them into internal PD tables. If you could put your D terms in a text file of the correct format then that new task would solve the problem of getting your data into AIPS. I attach an example file BASD.sample where the ...'s indicate a lot of lines left out. Your file might require the antenna name on the New antenna comment line. Alternatively you could put your data in the format used by the TBOUT task. Then TBIN could read it directly. I also attach a much large example of the first 3 rows of an actual TB table as output by TBOUT.<br></div><div><br></div>
