<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr">Dear Colleagues,<div><br></div><div>Reducing the Bk224C L-band experiment performed with the PFB firmware,</div><div>I follow the novel amplitude calibration procedure presented in Memo #37 </div><div>by Craig Walker. As suggested, I use the full width to calibrate bandpass</div><div>with BPASS setting </div><div>BPASSPRM(10) 6</div><div>I also set ICHANSEL 1,64,1,0 to use all the channels, though it seems like</div><div>BPASSPRM(10) 6 is enough for that.</div><div>My question is re. the same verb ICHANSEL in the next step, the task ACSCL.</div><div>Surprisingly, there is no recommendation on that in the Memo.</div><div>Do I have to set it ICHANSEL 1,64,1,0 [to work with the full band]? By default</div><div>it is set as 0 using 75% central channels if VLBAAMP is run. The reason I</div><div>ask this question is the difference in flux scales at a level of ~5% between these</div><div>options (lower flux densities for the full width option in ACSCL).</div><div><br></div><div>I would also appreciate any comments re. DOBAND parameter in ACSCL.</div><div>Any recommendations? There are 5 options available. Currently, I use DOBAND 1.</div><div><br></div><div>Best Regards,</div><div>Alexander</div></div></div>
