<div>I have two (Australian LBA) uv-datasets, one at 4.8 GHz, one at 2.24 GHz. I'd like to concatenate them to do multi-freq synthesis imaging, gridding all the data together for a single-plane image, to increase the uv-coverage (the spectral index should be effectively flat, so this should work).<br></div><div><br></div><div>Although the C and S-band datasets have mostly the same antennas, each has antennas not present in the other.</div><div><br></div><div>Is it possible to combine them sensibly for imaging in AIPS, or should I just use CASA for imaging (I think tclean handles multiple data sets properly)<br></div><div><br></div><div>When I simple-mindedly tried DBCON, I always got only 1 FQID in the output, regardless of the setting of FQTOL (-1, 0, +10).
