Does your output file exist before you run ISPEC? Does it exist after? With pre-existing files with append true, the file is open and read until and end of file then reopened and read just up to the end of file, leaving the file ready to have records appended.</div><div>Perhaps Ubuntu 18 does not like this - but I have only RedHat Linux on which to</div><div>test things.<br></div><div><br></div>
