<div>Hello,</div><div>For correlating most of the RadioAstron space VLBI data, we use a software correlator developed in our institution - ASCFX. Its output is similar to DIFX one, so we need to apply digital corrections to data in the FITLD AIPS task. Since our data is not "VLBA data", we have to set the DIGICOR adverb to 3. But when trying to load multiple FITS-IDI files in AIPS (NCOUNT>1), corrections applied only to data from the first input file. In the attached AIPS HISTORY file, you can see how the DIGICOR value changes from 1 for the first file to -5 for the fourth. The root of the problem is that in the SUBROUTINE GET3DT, the variable DOCORR is decremented by two before processing each input file (FITLD.FOR, line 8630 for version 31DEC20), so its value becomes negative for the second and subsequent input files. I believe this is a bug in the algorithm.</div><div>Best,</div><div>Petr</div>
