My name is Marcus Keil and I'm currently a PhD student at the University College London working with a European Training Network called ACO. A project that was proposed to me, was the idea of creating a machine learning algorithm that performed cleaning of

 maps from ALMA data in a similar fashion to Tclean, but without user interaction. Simply supply the image and the algorithm will clean it. I was curious, is such an algorithm currently being worked on by any members that you are aware of? </div>

I'm currently trying to find out if it would be possible but more importantly if it has already been done in the past. I couldn't find any publications in my initial searches which is why I decided to turn directly to you at AIPS.</div>
