Dear Eric :<br /><br />        Thank you sooo much for helping us !!!  The updated version works well !<br /><br />        Although this LPCAL ticket can be closed, I would like to ask another question related to LPCAL. My collaborator and I are developing a polarization calibration code in python with the D-term fitting algorithm similar to LPCAL, but it can  fit multiple source simultaneously. We are currently exploring the possibility to transform this code to Fortran and integrate it to AIPS.<br /><br />        My question is that is writing a AIPS task in fortran a formidable work to do (given that we don't have any experience of writing any AIPS task) ?    If we can write our code in Fortran, would it be relatively easy to integrate it into AIPS ?  Is there any instruction online for writing our own AIPS task ?   Thanks again !<br /><br />ps :  I visit NRAO HQ regularly. So, if someone at the HQ can help, we would be happy to visit Charlottesville to work with experts there to make our code working.<br /><br />regards<br />chengyu<br /><br />
