I am attempting to use POSSM's 'POLPLOT' option, but it does not appear to be doing what I expect.<br /><br />I have a spectral line source with strong circular polarization. The first attachment shows RR overplotted with LL. <br /><br />But if I then set POLPLOT='RR/LL', the ratio appears to be a constant, modulo a few noise spikes that occur <br />in channels with no line emission (attachment 2). Indeed, the resulting plot is identical to the one I get if I specify POLPLOT='RR/RL'<br />(attachment 3).<br /><br />Thank you,<br />Lynn
