In a test area I compiled aips with gfortran 6.3 just yesterday.<br />The advantage of Intel is that it has an option to make sure that<br />the load modules will work on older versions of the Mac OS.<br /><br />The gfortran compilation was straight forward - can you tel<br />me what issues you had?<br /><br />Eric Greisen
