$LD_LIBRARY_PATH is set when you have the binary installation since we need to provide support libraries<br />for the various compilers we have used.  With a local installation there should be no need.  You would have<br />the libraries as part of having the compiler.  Glad to hear that it is working now.<br /><br />Eric Greisen<br />
