When I say compile locally I mean that you have to set up<br />the $SYSLOCAL files FDEFAULT.SH, LDOPTS.SH and CCOPTS.SH<br />to point at compilers that you have on your machine.  You also need<br />to remove the file RSYNC.ME which tells the machine that it is a <br />binary installation.  Frankly your troubles confuse me.  I do find <br />that the string GFORTRAN occurs in the libgfortran.so.3 but I <br />can't find it anywhere else on my machine so I do not see how it gets<br />resolved here.<br /><br />Note that gfortran versions 4.x frequently do not work.  Use at least<br />versions 5 or better 6.<br /><br />Eric Greisen<br />
