Hello,<br /><br />     Sorry to bother you, but I'm having trouble adding '/disk1/ICARUS_1' to the data drives in my installation of AIPS.  I have :<br /><ol><br />
<li>an empty file called SPACE in this directory</li><br />
<li>DATA_AREAS = "/opt/prog/aips/DATA/LOCALHOST_1:NONE /disk1/ICARUS_1:NONE" in the .AIPSRC file in my home directory</li><br />
<li>And my DADEVS.LIST file consists of the following lines:<br />
<ul><br />
<li>- /opt/prog/aips/DATA/LOCALHOST_1</li><br />
<li>- /disk1/ICARUS_1 </li><br />
</ul><br />
</li><br />
</ol><br />
Yet, when I start AIPS it outputs the following:<br /><br />START_AIPS: User data area assignments:<br />DADEVS.PL: This program is untested under Perl version 5.016<br /> (Using global default file /opt/prog/aips/DA00/DADEVS.LIST for DADEVS.PL)<br /> Disk 1 (1) is /opt/prog/aips/DATA/LOCALHOST_1<br /><br />Please let me know what else I need to do for AIPS to recognize this second data directory.  Thanks a lot, and hope all is well -- Yosi
