<pre>Dear NRAO Helpdesk,<br />I am having trouble with loading of multiple FITSIDI data files into AIPS at a time using the versions <br />of 31DEC17 and 31DEC18. It seems that the version 31DEC16 could bypass the prolem, but I hope this can be <br />officially fixed in the latest version.</pre><br />
For the dataset I am currently reducing, it seem that FITLD (from 31DEC17 and 18) can only suffcessfully load the first few files and then it begin to give errors like the following:<br /><pre>FITLD1: MAPANT: PRE-EXISTING ANTENNA 5 OVERRIDES USER SPECIFICATION<br />FITLD1: CHECK OUTPUT AN TABLE CLOSELY - THINGS MAY BE MESSED UP<br /><br />With the loading of more data files, the errors repeat and accumulate. At the end, I get the following:<br /><br />FITLD1: MAPANT: PRE-EXISTING ANTENNA 5 OVERRIDES USER SPECIFICATION<br />FITLD1: CHECK OUTPUT AN TABLE CLOSELY - THINGS MAY BE MESSED UP<br />FITLD1: MAPANT: PRE-EXISTING ANTENNA 6 OVERRIDES USER SPECIFICATION<br />FITLD1: CHECK OUTPUT AN TABLE CLOSELY - THINGS MAY BE MESSED UP<br />FITLD1: MAPANT: PRE-EXISTING ANTENNA 5 OVERRIDES USER SPECIFICATION<br />FITLD1: CHECK OUTPUT AN TABLE CLOSELY - THINGS MAY BE MESSED UP<br />FITLD1: MAPANT: PRE-EXISTING ANTENNA 6 OVERRIDES USER SPECIFICATION<br />FITLD1: CHECK OUTPUT AN TABLE CLOSELY - THINGS MAY BE MESSED UP<br />FITLD1: MAPANT: PRE-EXISTING ANTENNA 10 OVERRIDES USER SPECIFICATION<br />FITLD1: CHECK OUTPUT AN TABLE CLOSELY - THINGS MAY BE MESSED UP<br />FITLD1: MAPANT: PRE-EXISTING ANTENNA 10 OVERRIDES USER SPECIFICATION<br />FITLD1: CHECK OUTPUT AN TABLE CLOSELY - THINGS MAY BE MESSED UP<br />FITLD1: MAPANT: PRE-EXISTING ANTENNA 10 OVERRIDES USER SPECIFICATION<br />FITLD1: CHECK OUTPUT AN TABLE CLOSELY - THINGS MAY BE MESSED UP<br /><br />Indeed, things get messed up in the AN table. However, running FITLD with the 31DEC16 version<br />does not have this problem and the resulting AN table looks ok.<br /><br />Please help fix this in the latest version and let me know if you need more information regarding the data<br />and message from running the FITLD task.</pre><br />Thank you very much,<br /><br />Rusen Lu
