These messages suggest that you do not have a full<br />X11 installation on your computer.  The fix is to make<br />such a "developers" installation and then rebuild the<br />TV viewer XAS.  You do not need to do the full recompile - simply<br />cd $YSERV/XAS<br />make clean<br />make<br /><br /><br />But why are you compiling aips yourself?  The binary <br />version would get you a working load module for XAS<br />although it might not work on your machine if X11 is<br />not properly installed.<br /><br />Eric Greisen<br />
