I do not know what is the matter for your installation.<br />My new Mac mini at 10.13 was delivered and <br />   perl install.pl -n<br />worked perfectly except that I needed to install XQuartz<br />to get the XWindows functions.  I have yet to try local<br />compilation but I  think few users do that on Macs.  I<br />just fixed the Mac compile scripts to know about gfortran.<br /><br />I do have sudo privilege on my machine but did not have<br />to invoke it except for the fix_aips_elcap.sh script.<br /><br />Eric Greisen<br />
