This is a rather bad installation error.  We try to prevent<br />the root account from doing the installation.  You will need<br />to have someone with root access to change SPACE<br />to, e.g. rw-rw-r-- but with group aips.  Then you have access<br />but it is also important to<br /><br />cd ..<br />ls -l<br /><br />to make sure that you have access to the whole data area.<br /><br />Note the error messages also apply to the other data areas<br />as well - I suspect that this SPACE file ownership error<br />occurs everywhere.<br /><br />Eric Greisen<br />
