i'm an undergraduate student doing radio astronomy research with aips.
the professor i'm working under is out of town for the next few weeks and 
i had some questions that would go unfielded until his return, so perhaps 
you could give me a hand.  my main problem is with performing a restart
clean, which to my understanding is doing a clean over an entire image
after a boxclean around a specific source has already been completed.  my 
attempts have been to first create a boxcleaned map using imagr and
saving the uv work file.  i then performed imagr again importing the
previously created uv work file with get2n, setting bcomp=100 and
allokay=2, and clearing off the boxclean parameters.  all this succeeded
in doing was to perform a clean over the entire map, without regarding
the previous boxclean i performed and its uv workfile i imported for the
restart clean.  perhaps you can explain to me what i'm doing wrong.  i
would greatly appreciate it.
