Hi,
I'm starting to use aips on my new SUN. The first problem I encountered
was when it started there was a message:

START_AIPS: User data area assignments:
DADEVS.PL: This program is untested under Perl version 5.006
  (Using global default file /home/aips/DA00/DADEVS.LIST for DADEVS.PL)
                  /home/aips/DATA/COSMO_1 is currently unavailable.
   Disk 1 (1) is /home/aips/DATA/COSMO_2
   Disk 2 (2) is /home/aips/DATA/COSMO_3
   Disk 3 (3) is /home/aips/DATA/COSMO_4
   Disk 4 (4) is /home/aips/DATA/COSMO_5
   Disk 5 (5) is /home/aips/DATA/COSMO_6

When I tried the command

cosmo> touch tmp/SPACE   

It replied:
touch: tmp/SPACE cannot create

What do I do next to correct this?  I imagine a lot of good stuff is in
COSMO_1
