[Alma_na] Heads Up Regarding NSF Presentation Request

Everyone,

 

On 30th August Dr. Lo will be presenting an ALMA Project Update to the
NSF.  Presentations will be based largely on the June-July monthly
report but will probably include progress through mid-August.  Dr. Lo
will be giving an overview and a summary and presentation of project
wide changes such as "schedule and cost rebaselining", or equivalently
an updating of the project plan.

 

It will be a powerpoint presentation, however, at this time the format
is undecided.  On Monday, a decision will be made as to the format of
these slides.  Each IPT lead will be asked to prepare 3 .ppt slides
summarizing their bimonthly report contribution but updated to
mid-August. Clearly you will have to highlight the essential points.
Again, the slides have to convey the actual versus planned status in the
relevant areas, AND recovery plans.

 

The first draft of these three slides will be due by the end of next
week, so that there is one more week for iterations.

 

This email is just a "heads-up" to make you aware that this will be
happening next week.  On Monday afternoon you will be receiving the
template for this presentation.  Please start thinking about what you
would like to present on your slides and be sure to allow time in your
schedule next week to make this a top priority item.
