I have received the official word, and my original memo was correct.  My
apologies for any confusion.  According to Charles Beverage, head of
NRAO MIS,
 > ALL purchase requisitions, invoices, correspondence, travel
 > requests/authorizations, and anything else will be coded with the
 > following format:
