Al passed along your recent email to me. 

Being able to drive over the pads is a specification for both the foundation and the transporter. We shouldn't allow Max to relax that specification unilaterally, especially if it has an impact on the scientific capabilities of the array.

Please include me in the distribution for your telecon next week. In fact, you might do well to use the alma-config at nrao.edu mailing list.
